    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Enterprise & Wholesale to join our growing Finance team!  As Financial Analyst, FP&A, you will report directly to the Manager, FP&A. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, annual and long-term planning as well as business performance reporting and analysis for the Enterprise & Wholesale team. You will work cross functionally and collaborate with the business unit becoming a subject matter expert and trusted partner. You are detail-oriented and an analytically-minded individual who is comfortable with creating and interpreting financial models. The FP&A team at Brightspeed plays a critical role in ensuring the company’s success and helping leadership optimize decision making. We work in a highly collaborative environment where everyone’s contribution is valued.     AS THE FINANCIAL ANALYST, FP&A SUPPORTING ENTERPRISE & WHOLESALE, YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Budgeting, reporting and forecasting for both revenue and expense
    • Development and reporting of KPIs
    • Model revenue trends, acquisition, churn and pricing strategies
    • Model headcount, operating and capital expenditures 
    • Report and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual business trends and Key Performance Indicators
    • Initiate and drive deep dive analysis to enable decision making, execution and/or strategic planning
    • Identify, quantify, and communicate financial risks and opportunities with course corrective recommendations
    • Partner with key stakeholders to drive strategic and actional insights with strong reporting commentary
    • Understand, manipulate, maintain and leverage various software tools and platforms for reporting and various financial and business analytics
    • Design, develop and implement methods and strategies to continually improve processes
    • Provide support to the development of periodic and ad-hoc presentations to organizational leadership
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Highly adept in MS Excel with experience of building and/or maintaining complex financial models
    • Experience working with planning and reporting tools such as Hyperion / Essbase, SAP, Anaplan as well as ERP and accounting systems
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills

    BONUS POINTS FOR:

    • Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • CPA designation
    • Strong telecommunications product knowledge
    • Ability to prepare financial and accounting records
