Street Sweeper Operator Brightstar Property Maintenance Services, Inc. is searching for a dedicated Parking Lot Sweeper to join our team in Broward County! We are looking for an individual who has at least two years of sweeping or janitorial experience and can operate all the necessary equipment needed to expertly maintain parking lots. As part of this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly picking up trash using both a pick stick as well as existing mechanical methods including backpack blowers and power sweeper trucks.. You must ensure that each area on the property is kept clean by changing garbage often; emptying receptacles when required; shoveling sand and soil from walkways, vehicles spaces etc.; painting curb caps accordingly-these responsibilities may vary based upon customer requirements . In addition, we expect applicants to have excellent communication skills – speaking with clients professionally along with following their requests promptly – while exhibiting your professionalism throughout service visits.
EXPERIENCED SWEEPER OPERATORS RATE IS NEGOTIABLE !!!!
Use a backpack blower, and operate our sweeper truck to remove trash and debris on street surfaces.
The gas back pack power: blower is used to remove debris from areas off the road that may not be picked up by the truck.
Perform basic pre-trip inspection, which includes oil level, tire pressure, burnt out lights etc.
Drive the truck from job to job
Complete paperwork at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
Must be at least 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
Must have a valid driver's license with no serious traffic infractions on record
Must be able to work flexible hours
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Hard work is recognized and rewarded.
Must have clean background (Be able to pass a background check.).
Availability to Work: Day time Shift from 4 AM and weekends is a requirement.
