    Reports to management regarding the finances of assigned unit(s).

    Manages bank reconciliation process from start to finish.

    Prepares weekly/monthly journal entries.

    ** Budgeting**

    Develops, maintains, and analyzes budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted revenues and expenses to actuals.

    Advises management about issues such as resource utilization and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.

    Knowledge:

    Advanced knowledge of MS Access and/or other database reporting tools. Nice to have, but not required.

    Accounting - Thorough knowledge of non-profit GAAP accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

    English Language - General knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

    Clerical - General knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

    Computers and Electronics - General knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

    Administration and Management - General knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, budgeting, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and/or coordination of people and resources.

    Customer and Personal Service - General knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

    Skills:

    Active Listening - Proficient skills in giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

    Mathematics - Advanced skills in using mathematics to solve problems.

    Reading Comprehension - Proficient understanding of written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.

    Writing - Proficient skills in communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
