    BRINK COMMUNICATIONS is looking for a seasoned Media Planner who brings media chops, strategic curiosity and a humble, collaborative approach. In addition to your experience developing and implementing media plans for a wide array of clients, audiences, budgets and channels, you’ll need to have a demonstrated strategic mindset and a commitment to getting even the tiniest details locked in.     Job Responsibilities: 

    The Media Planner works with clients, media vendors and Brink Account Managers, Designers and other team members to manage the strategy, planning and implementation of ad buys across the agency. 

    Key responsibilities include:

    MODERN MEDIA STRATEGY AND CREATIVE COLLABORATION:

    • Work directly with clients, consultants and vendors as well as internally with other team members to establish media objectives, strategies, tactics and KPIs for advertising campaigns.
    • Develop paid media plans for advertising across digital and traditional media, including audiences, channels, mediums, etc.
    • Conduct audience research, management, exploration, and testing within digital platforms.
    • Proactively collaborate with various team members to plan, execute, and evaluate content performance and A/B testing across channels.
    • Understand the user journey through the digital funnel and provide recommendations to align media channels, ad targeting, and optimize spend.
    • Research new tactics and innovative ad platforms to extend campaign effectiveness.

    MEDIA PLANNING, BUYING AND TRAFFICKING:

    • Execute campaigns on social media, SEM, display, programmatic, video, radio and embedded advertising for client accounts.
    • Manage media buy process including but not limited to developing buy parameters, templates, creating RFPs, client approval, and invoicing of media campaigns.
    • Maintain and monitor paid media budgets.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with paid media vendors including radio stations, outdoor, and digital.

    REAL-TIME REPORTING AND STEWARDSHIP:

    • Communicate results effectively by telling the story behind the data and developing actionable recommendations.
    • Track and measure metrics across the digital suite of tools at the organizational, project, campaign, and content level.
    • Generate, write, and distribute analytics reports that result in a better understanding of client’s audience and provide insight into trends to help strategic planning.
    • Develop benchmarking for client’s digital properties.
    • Respond to requests for metrics and prepare presentations on metrics.

    • Demonstrated experience in digital analytics, configuring and using tag management and data management platforms
    • Understanding of digital marketing best practices including developing and optimizing measurement frameworks for cross-channel advertising efforts.

    • Demonstrated strategic mindset and success in generating creative insights and delivering audience-centered media solutions for clients.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
    • Sincere interest in collaboration, creative problem-solving, and continuous learning

    • At least four years of professional experience in media planning in-house or at a creative agency.
    • Experience collaborating with creative and account teams.
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

    Compensation:

    The annual salary range for this full-time position is $77,000 to $102,000 commensurate with experience and skills. Brink offers excellent benefits, including fully covered health, dental, vision and short-term disability insurance; 401(k) with employer match; paid annual transit pass; profit sharing and paid volunteer time.
