    We are growing! We are seeking a talented Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to join us. In this critical role, you'll perform safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, site safety orientation, activity-specific training, and ensure enforcement. The ideal candidate will have experience with The United States Army Corps of Engineering EM 385-1-1 Health and Safety Requirements Manual and OSHA regulations. The project Scope of Work consists of roof replacement, window and siding replacement, structural repairs, painting, HVAC, plumbing and incidental related work for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), the position will be located at Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Barstow, CA. Responsibilities: • Manage execution from inception to completion for assigned task orders including responding to RFPs • Responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of work for assigned construction projects • Oversee daily field activities, cost control, and quality assurance; participates in value engineering services as appropriate • Direct interface with government representatives and coordinate performance with the Site Superintendent, in-house workforce, and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely completion • Communicate with the Safety Manager to ensure all work is performed in accordance with contract specifications and without deficiencies • Responsible for working with Project Scheduler to maintain the project schedule • Manage project materials and equipment procurement within the project’s budget constraints and consistent with the project delivery schedule • Coordinate all final close-out procedures for the project including as-built drawings, punch lists, final billing, occupancy permit, owner acceptance, project manuals, warranty letters, subcontractor close-out, letter of substantial completion, and letter of recommendations Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in, Architecture, Building Construction, Building Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or Engineering Technology • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager on similar size and type construction contracts, including major trades that are part of this Contract • Two years of experience in QC Manager role • Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements, hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability Compensation: $110,000
