    The Bilingual Employee Relations Human Resources Specialist serves as intermediary between employees and supervisors/managers by answering questions, assisting with issues and concerns, supporting and advocating. As well as ensuring non discrimination and harassment. Oversee and manage training and development.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Implement Training and Development by preparing, training and helping new workers to ease into their roles. Create and update training manuals so that all employees can reach out to a common source for information, as needed.• If an employee struggles to do the job they were hired for, the advocate will provide them with various additional sources of training, coaching and mentoring. If the role proves too difficult for a worker after an allotted training period, HR will try to find them a more suitable position within the company, if possible.• Answer questions and provide information relating to benefits, policies and procedures, payroll, etc. • Advise managers/supervisors on employee rights.• Ensure equal employment opportunity by reviewing affirmative action reports generated by the ATS. Following up with the HR Director on findings and next steps.• Partner with the HR Director on employee relations mediation and next steps as needed.• Resolve complaints and employee issues by partnering with the HR Director to ensure effective solutions that are beneficial to the employee and organization.• Must be bilingual – Fluent in SpanishCompetencies• Communication.• Consultation. • Ethical Practice.• Global & Cultural Awareness.• HR Expertise.• Relationship Management.Supervisory ResponsibilityNoneWork EnvironmentPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.Travel75%Required Education and Experience1. A bachelor's degree and three to five years of HR experience in an EE relations role, or seven years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience.2. Excel, Word, Power Point mid-level experience. Preferred Education and Experience1. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential. Or PHR Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).2. Eight to 10 years of human resource experience.Additional Eligibility Qualifications1.
