    SUMMARY:

    Performs a wide variety of complex mechanical, electromechanical, or electronic technical duties in the fabrication, testing, and debugging of assemblies, modules, and systems. Writes and maintains associated documentation.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems
    • Participate in the risk analysis of test process, impact, and consequences.
    • Create, observe, and follow the quality control process during the test execution phases.
    • Analyze test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failure/loss of yield, and recommend corrective action.
    • Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
    • Support new product introduction activities.
    • Participate in cross-functional project teams, collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams.
    • Create, modify, and maintain testing and QA documentation.
    • Review PCBA designs for testability requirements.
    • Review designs, data, and RMA issues to improve testing and QA procedures.

    SKILL/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • BSEE or other relevant Engineering field.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in semiconductor equipment and/or capital equipment
    • Ability to identify, describe, understand, and troubleshoot PCBAs down to the components level.
    • Create technical and process related procedures where none currently exist.
    • Hands on technical background.
    • Highly organized and able to work both independently and within a team.
    • Basic computer skills – ability to read/write emails, use of MS Office suite.
    • CAD/Electrical diagram software experience.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
    • Automation and Robotics experience considered a plus.
    • Leadership abilities a plus.
