British Swim School, the leader in teaching water survival and swimming lessons, just started a swim team in the Lake Country area!! We are in need of a highly motivated and experienced assistant swim team coach.

Our Junior Barracuda Assistant Swim Team Coach will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will help our Swim Team members improve their swimming skills. A typical day for an Assistant Swim Team Coach could include writing and leading Swim Team Group Workouts according to a season plan. They will also oversee registering new participants for the Team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Experience coaching, teaching, or working with children.

Fantastic communication and organizational skills.

Enthusiasm for and brand ambassador for the British Swim School program

Evening availability

Creates an educational, safe and inviting experience for all participants

Initiates, develops and maintains positive relationships with participants

Acts as the liaison between the Aquatics Department Head, USA Swimming, Swim Coaches and Parents

Participates in weekly 1-on-1 meetings with the Aquatics Manager and club management meetings

Writes the season plan and workout templates for each season

Position Requirements

Some swim coaching experience preferred

Competitive swim background with knowledge of all 4 strokes

CPR/AED certification required within the first 3 months of hire

The position is part-time with a flexible schedule based on the needs of the program.

Pay: $20-22/hour based on experience
