The Company:

British Swim School was founded in 1981 and is today world's premier water survival, learn-to-swim and stroke development school. We are looking for fun-loving, reliable individuals who love working with kids and are willing to learn. Our pools are located in the Walnut Creek and Lamorinda areas.

The Position:

Although we teach swimming to all ages and abilities, the majority of our students are preschool and elementary-aged children. Our instructors need to enjoy working with this young age group while also putting parents at ease. Experience in working with children or in a child-oriented business is preferred, although not necessary if you can demonstrate the desired attitude. The position includes 40 hours of specialist training in our highly developed British Swim School methodology.

What we need from you:

· An eye for talent – our aquatics team needs to be enthusiastic, energetic, reliable, and fun

· Lots of energy and positive attitude· American Red Cross lifeguard certification or equivalent current or completed within 90 days of employment

· CPR/first aid instructor certification current or completed within 90 days of employment
