BRIVIANT INC.  is a rapidly growing tech company looking for people who are passionate about technology. We have an immediate opening for a Web Developer.  This person is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of all phases of the web development life cycle. The role requires a technical background with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience and the ability to communicate with all levels of the corporate structure. The ideal candidate is committed to lifelong learning, possessing the ability to apply their technical knowledge, skills and experience to solve complex/real-world problems.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and implement responsive, functional and appealing web and mobile applications

• Optimizing application for high performance and scalability

• Creating, editing and modifying templates for a CMS or web development framework

• Interpreting graphic visual or interactive designs in HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility

• Writing functional requirement documents and specifications

• Creating quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines

• Participating in research, technology/tool evaluation, and proof of concepts

• Maintaining graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface

• Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies

SKILL SETS/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Web Developer

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field

• Proficient in Angular and Angular 2+

• Proficient in Node.js

• Familiar with JavaScript front end frameworks and single page web app stacks

• Proficient in Python

• Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required

• Requires extensive interaction in all phases of the web development life cycle as well as engagement of customer needs and business strategy

• Experience in optimizing performance metrics and UI/UX design

• Experience in unit testing
