Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
The Ben Kinney Companies is looking for a talented content marketer to take responsibility for our inbound marketing strategies including social media and lead generation content creation.
Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, highly motivated, preferably with a creative writing background. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized, goal-oriented, collaborative, creative, and a go-getter.
You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers. Ultimately, you should be able to expand our company’s digital footprint and brand awareness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuously develop and deploy content marketing to achieve business targets
Strategize and execute a content calendar based on frequently asked questions, industry relevance, and timely sales opportunities
Write best-in-class email marketing messages, social media copy, video scripts, and more
Collaborate with marketing, training, and design to produce high-quality content
Develop editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met
Deliver engaging content on a regular basis and inspire team members to contribute
Edit, proofread, and improve the content
Analyze web traffic metrics
Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence
Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
Use HubSpot to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers
Optimize new and existing content using SEO best practices and tools on an ongoing basis
Ideate and manage the creation of downloadable offers such as worksheets, one-sheets, checklists, e-books, and infographics
Measure, report, and improve content performance using analytics tools such as HubSpot and Google Analytics
Adhere to marketing and brand guidelines to create consistency across channels to support and strengthen the company’s overall brand identity and sentiment in the market
Work seamlessly with the team to ensure effective and positive collaboration
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, or related field.
At least 2 years of content marketing management, professional brand storytelling experience, or relevant experience
Project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communications: you are a stickler for correct spelling, grammar, and citations
Experienced HubSpot user, proficient in its marketing automation features
Experience with analytics programs such as HubSpot and Google Analytics
Strong understanding of marketing through the various phases of the sales funnel
Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects
Strong organizational skills when it comes to processing documentation and project management
Ability to adapt with changing business needs
Strong written portfolio to demonstrate the above qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in Canva
Basic graphic design skills
Expertise in social media platforms
Basic front end web development experience (light HTML/CSS customization)
Real estate knowledge/experience
Knowledge surrounding Brivity and the Ben Kinney Companies products and services
Experience with SEO publishing best practices and web traffic metrics
Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
