ROLE AND PURPOSEThe Back-end .NET Developer is responsible for implementing and maintaining connections to hundreds of external data sources. The MLS data team owns several software systems for ingesting, transforming,and serving out multiple, differing information streams. These systems are built using a services approach, communicating through API calls and message queue technologies. As these systems provide the foundational information about all client data, building and supporting services that are robust at scale is central to our mission.The MLS data team’s development is primarily in C#, but depending on interest, any role at our company can expand into other code bases using NodeJS, Python, Ruby, and others.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES●Maintain connections to hundreds of external data sources, ensuring they stay up-to-date within15min●Implement connections and data mappings to external data sources●Work with QA to ensure customer satisfaction●Develop tooling to make troubleshooting easier and implementations more efficient●Manage horizontally scaled hardware and minimize cost by writing clean, efficient code●Automate repetitive tasksREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS●B.S. in Computer Science OR equivalent with 0-2 years of experience with a statically typed language●Proficient in Git or equivalent version control softwarePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS●Familiar with C# and .NET●Familiar with micro services, web APIs, and cloud architecture (prefer AWS)●Familiar with SQLBENEFITS●We offer two health insurance plans (HSA and PPO), dental and vision coverage, as well as life insurance and disability insurance.●401(k) plan available●Minimum two weeks paid vacation per year●Paid family leave●Snacks and coffee provided in office●Company libraryIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
