    Job Overview

    The Staff Accountant will perform basic accounting functions in accordance with established policies &procedures related to accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger transactions, working aspart of the overall accounting team. This role will be managing accounting needs for both residential andcommercial properties.

    Job Responsibilities

    Oversee owner and tenant transactions for all managed properties.

    Prepare property owner reports and calculate monthly property distributions.

    Audit property financial statements, trust accounts, and tenant deposits.

    Prepare commercial & residential property budgets.

    Receiving and entering tenant payments

    Maintaining tenant ledgers, posting charges & credits

    Tracking holding fees

    Processing move in & move out transactions

    Monitoring delinquencies

    Work proficiency within various software including Microsoft Office Suite.

    Continuously demonstrate ethical and confidentiality practices.

    Perform other duties as requested.

    Job Qualifications

    Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.

    GAAP knowledge and practices.

    Ability to communicate effectively with peers and customers both in written and verbal form.

    Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and other data management tools

    Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    Detail and quality orientation, motivated by achievements, and collaborative.

    Ability to manage and organize competing demands and a diverse workload.

    Ability to work independently following the client’s business hours (Pacific, Central, Eastern, Mountain).
