About the Position
This Account Manager role is a strategic sales position to grow our client’s existing business and cultivate new business opportunities with commercial pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical laboratories, and academic cores in the territory’s regional market. Our client is seeking a hunter with a strong network in the territory’s biopharma market to strategically expand business in the genomics market segment. The Account Manager will be an energetic and consultative sales professional that will lead technical conversations with scientific research customers around their NGS workflows. The Account Manager will work in partnership with the automation group to identify opportunities to cross sell our client’s reagent and automation portfolio. The Account Manager participate in lead generation activities and will own, drive, and close the entire sales cycle from end-to-end. With new technologies coming in the pipeline, this Account Manager opportunity has potential to grow from a reagent sales role to selling both NGS reagents and complementing instruments.
