They are making waves in life science and clinical research for expanding access to their CRISPR and genome engineering tools and aiding in accelerating scientific discoveries worldwide. The company is in their rapid growth stage as a mid-sized private company, and they have a culture characterized by collaboration, entrepreneurial spirit, and career headroom. Our client been expanding their commercial success and has had strong revenue growth in 2020 and are excited to leverage their momentum heading into 2021.

    About the Position 
    This role is a strategic position to grow the company’s commercial business strategy and cultivate strategic alliances with key accounts in the United States and Europe. This newly created role is part of a major commercial development expansion. This Director will develop strategic alignments with large Pharma clients and support industry leaders in furthering their drug discovery advancements. This Director will develop the long-term commercial strategy to grow business with global key accounts and align their strategy amongst all customer sites by identifying, building, and closing high revenue generating opportunities.
     
    About the Job Requirements
    • 7+ years of sales and/or technical product marketing experience in life sciences or drug discovery
    • Deep knowledge and understanding of drug discovery
    • Ph.D., MBA or equivalent degree in life sciences field is preferred
    • PASSIONATE about their work and supports company success as a team player
    • Ability to practice collaborative value-selling, drive multi-departmental engagements, and work strategically with the sales team
    • Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Next-Generation Sequencing, or CRISPR sales and/or research experience is highly desired
