Since the recent launch of our client's GMP portfolio for Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT), our client has successfully produced significant business growth in this market and continues to expand their CGT offerings.

     

    About the Position
    Our client is expanding their team and is seeking a Cell & Gene Therapy Sales Consultant to evangelize for and drive our client’s GMP CGT business in the West Coast. The CGT Sales Consultant will promote on the capabilities of CRISPR as an application to support the development of cell therapies and advance bringing new curative therapeutics to the clinic. The CGT Sales Consultant will possess an understanding of the evolving CGT market landscape to drive new and existing business in the territory. The CGT Sales Consultant will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers of pharma, biotech, and leading research institutions with cell therapy programs. The CGT Sales Consultant will work closely with cross functional teams on custom projects and will be responsible for driving the entirety of the sales cycle. The CGT Sales Consultant will be a team player who can lead teams to work together towards the common goal and is able to generate excitement in the CGT market for our client’s technologies and capabilities. The CGT Sales Consultant will be a member of a growing specialist team and this opportunity offers significant career growth potential within the company.


    About the Job Requirements

    · 5+ years of key account / large corporate technical sales experience in biotechnology, life sciences, or cell therapy.

    · Strong understanding and knowledge of CGT workflows, the equipment, GMP environments, IND submissions, and API regulatory requirements.

    · Solid technical background and understanding of CGT and drug development workflows.

    · Basic working knowledge of CRISPR is a plus.

    · Drives complex projects with longer sales cycles to close high dollar value contracts.

    · Develops and executes strategic and tactical plans for account growth.

    · Leads high-level meetings with KOLs and stakeholders of key accounts.

    · Leverages established industry relationships within CGT accounts to strategically grow business.

    · Proven track record of delivering against quarterly and annual sales plans as an individual contributor.

    · Bachelor's degree in Biology or similar field required. Advanced degree (Ph.D. or MS) in a life sciences discipline and/or relevant research experience is preferred.

    · Remote-based with up to 50% travel for vendor shows, in-person seminars, and on-site customer site meetings.
