About the Position
The Microbiology Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue in the Mid-Atlantic territory and selling a revolutionary product that produces rapid, accurate, and cost-effective microorganism detection and identification. This is a high-ticket sales role that includes capital equipment, software, service contracts, and consumable revenue for their microbiology platform with both IVD and RUO applications. The focus will be calling into microbiology laboratories within clinical, pharma, veterinary, food/beverage, and environmental markets. The Microbiology Sales Specialist will achieve success through a consultative, solution selling process and by working collaboratively in a matrixed sales environment and with distribution partners. The Microbiology Sales Specialist will be a hunter who is success driven and embraces diversified selling into all target markets and leads the pack for new product launches.
