About the Position:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing Account Executives in the Rocky Mountain region for all molecular, cytology and perinatal equipment and tests.

• Direct staffing, training, coaching, performance evaluations, and career development planning for Account Executives
  Develop and achieve accurate forecasts quarterly
• Assist Account Executives where appropriate in direct sale of products
  
• Work with marketing department to promote customer laboratory demand
• Develop regional business plans and strategies
  
• Work collaboratively with District Sales Manager and Regional Diagnostic Specialist in coaching joint Diagnostic Sales Specialist (DSS)/Account Executive (AE)/Strategic Account Managers, Perinatal (SAMPs) Business Planning and activities
• Work collaboratively with Field Applications Manager, Field Service Manager and Medical and Scientific Affairs to ensure proper support of laboratory customers
  
• Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product

• Monitor expenditures of region to confirm to budgetary requirements

About the Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience, MBA is a plus
  
• Minimum of 5-7 years related medical sales experience required
• Previous management experience required
• Candidate will ideally live in Denver, Colorado
