    About the Position

    This Sales Executive will be responsible for strategically driving revenue growth opportunities, market development activities, and cultivating customer relationships with key industry opinion leaders. This Sales Executive will execute the critical business functions of identifying, developing, and growing the company’s key customer base – Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Academic Research accounts in territory’s the regional market. This Sales Executive will consult with clients on their research to offer valuable solutions to help accelerate their research and will work collaboratively with customers on instrument demos using their own data. Our client is seeking an energetic and skilled sales professional with a passion to make an impact at a company in their rapid growth phase.


    About the Job Requirements

    • Territory: Southern CA, HI, AZ, UT, NM
    • 2+ years of technical sales experience in the Life Science area
    • Experience selling capital equipment or managing longer sales cycles is a plus
    • Established network and client portfolio across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic research market segments
    • Strong experience in account management, new business development, customer relations, and strategic and tactile sales
    • Able to speak fluently about the biological sciences and techniques used for cell-based assays and assay development
    • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
    • Works well in a team sales environment
    • Technical degree in molecular biology, cell biology, or related life science field
    • Previous experience working as a Scientist or Researcher is a plus
    • Home-office based with up to 20% travel
