    Job Description

    Broadridge is growing! We are actively seeking an INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST to join our Human Resources team in Deer Park, Long Island. Reporting directly to our Sr. Director, Internal Communications, you will be responsible for assisting in developing the associate communication strategy and then effectively crafting and managing associate messages through various media channels. In this hands-on, individual contributor level role, you will use your broad range of communications, writing, project management and people skills to conceive elements of the strategy and deliver most of that strategy’s tactical elements.

    RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT: Infusing associate communications with Broadridge culture and voice to tell captivating stories. Drafting, editing and/or reviewing various types of content. Producing creative, relevant communications aligned to key messages that support the business strategy and continually drive engagement.

    • GLOBAL MESSAGE CENTER: Managing our Global Messaging tool to ensure communications to associates are clear, concise, and purposeful. Reviewing and analyzing metrics to gain a better understanding of associate engagement and focusing efforts on the most relevant content and communications vehicles.

    • INTRANET PORTAL: Assisting in management of the Company intranet portal. Acting as news editor for homepage stories, crafting and pitching news stories using effective storytelling to inform and engage associates. Reporting on the effectiveness of various plans and programs, and developing and implementing strategies for keeping all global associates engaged and excited.

    • HR COMMUNICATIONS: Working with the HR team to define overall HR communication needs and serving as communications point person for HR-related initiatives. Establishing measurable goals and objectives of the communications program and reporting metrics on a regular basis to demonstrate impact and action plan for improvement.

    • CORPORATE TOWN HALL AND VIDEOS: Driving associate understanding of the business strategy and connection to our leaders, purpose and values with executive programs and events. Assisting in the continual evolution of our Town Halls and videos to help ensure we are using optimal channels and methods to reach associates to increase participation and engagement.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Communications, Marketing, or English preferred
    • 3-5 years of related experience with Internal Communications
    • Experience operating in a global environment and ability to demonstrate international cultural agility
    • Skill with writing and editing in a variety of styles and formats in a way that is engaging, clear, grammatically correct, and actionable
    • Ability to distill information into a concise, simple message to share through a variety of communication channels
    • Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills, coupled with the proven ability to set priorities, balance deadlines, and make data-driven decisions
    • Excellent digital skills including high proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Familiarity with creative processes (layout, photography, print production)
    • Experience with Poppulo/Newsweaver and Adobe Creative Cloud are a plus
    • Ability to travel between NY Metro offices and occasionally to other locations around the globe (1-2 trips per year)
