Broadridge is currently seeking sharp, business-minded student interns with data analysis and research skills to join our teams for a 10 week summer internship starting in June 2019. The internship provides you with an in-depth understanding of the organization through mentored work experience and training seminars.

This Internship will give you the opportunity to explore Broadridge as a potential employer upon graduation. This is an exciting opportunity for you to learn more about the rapidly growing financial technology area.

The Matrix software development team based in Phoenix is a dynamic organization working within a Microsoft .net environment under the Agile SDLC. We are looking for a motivated individual with previous coding experience to work within a Scrum team to deliver software projects for internal business use. This person can gain experience in writing SQL queries, c# code, object-oriented approaches, SOA, JavaScript, middle-tier business logic, JQuery, unit testing, and more.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Undergraduate students working towards a Bachelor's degree in their junior or senior year of study
• Majors in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA. Additional requirements might apply.
• Attention to detail in a face-paced work environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Interest and a real passion for learning about the FinTech industry

Technical:

• Basic C# programming skills
• Basic JavaScript programming skills
• Basic CSS skills
• Good communication skills
• Willing to work as part of a team
• Strong Analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred:

• Exposure to SQL
• Exposure to JavaScript web frameworks such as Angular
• Exposure to RESTful services
• Exposure to Agile
