This opportunity is located in the Simpsonville/Greenville/Columbia, SC area and will travel through out the state of SC to support the Corporate IT department, based in Raleigh, NC. Our ideal candidate will reside in a central South Carolina area. POSITION SUMMARY:Under the supervision of IT leadership, the Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing computer and business systems support services. Applies knowledge and skills of computer hardware and software to conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting processes to resolve incidents and problems reported by computer users. Performs diagnostic testing, analysis and optimization of computer devices and components. Helps plan and participate in Service Desk related projects. Responsibilities include;Provides service desk level support for computer systems and servicesAnalyzes, troubleshoots, resolves, and documents solutions for incidents, problems, and service requestsEvaluates, installs, configures, tests, and maintains computer hardware and softwareEnsures appropriate priority is assigned to reported incidents and service requestsProvides timely responses and updates to ensure customer satisfaction Helps provide 24 x 7 coverage for all IT services including on call support activities Works with 3rd party vendors to resolve problems and coordinate implementing solutionsDevelopments and updates training materials as related to the needs of the business Qualifications include;Graduation from an accredited two or four-year college or university with major course work in computer technology field preferred, or equivalent combination of education & experienceAppropriate certifications and/or moderate to advanced desktop support knowledgeTwo or more years of experience supporting and troubleshooting computer hardware and software systemsDemonstrated knowledge and experience with computer devices, operation systems, configurations, diagnostic testing, service desk support systems and tools, and troubleshooting processes and proceduresExperience in a service desk function within a highly dynamic multi-state, multi-location environment is desiredExperience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting is highly desiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:Physical: This position requires ability stand, stoop, reach, lift (up to 15 pounds), bend, etc. Ability to sit for extended periods of time utilizing computer and office equipment (requires use of hand & wrist dexterity).
