    Broadway Medical Clinic in NE Portland has an immediate opening for an experienced Radiology - Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO). We seek a candidate who desires to provide excellent patient care and service, has a clear understanding of the positioning of radiographic exposure, a keen approach to quality assurance, and hands-on knowledge of radiology, radiation physics, and protection.

    Essential duties and Responsibilities

    · Perform Radiology procedures for interpretation by a licensed practitioner

    · Obtain patient history

    · Provide direction throughout the procedure

    · Prepares reports as required for the position and department

    · Assists in the performance of:

    ° ECG

    ° Pulmonary Function Testing

    ° Holter/Event Monitoring/ZioPatch

    ° At-Home Sleep Studies

    ° Blood Pressure Monitoring

    · Front office responsibilities include, but not limited to, answer department phones, greet/check-in patients, scheduling, process/enter orders, and proficient use of EPM and HER, as well as PACS systems.

    Essential Qualifications

    · At a minimum, must be licensed as a Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO) with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in Chest, Extremities, Spine, Skull/Sinuses.

    · Candidates with 2+ years’ experience in the field preferred although will consider a New Graduate.

    · EMR experience preferred.

    · Candidates must have strong computer skills and the ability to perform procedures for a variety of patient age groups.
