SERVICE TRUCK DRIVER for operations in the Alexandria, LA area.

JOB DUTIES:
- Operating a service, water or tack vehicle in a straight truck with tanker configuration, with a high degree of skill and adherence to safety.
- Proper filling and material handling.
- Adhering to FMCS regulations and company policies related to safe and courteous driving
- Performing PRE/POST trip inspections accurately; and working with mechanics and management to ensure timely repairs and maintenance
- Keeping vehicle clean, safe and operational as per regulations
- Performing manual tasks, along with other members of the crew, to achieve company efficiency and production goals.
- Following all safety policies and PPE use
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work outdoors in high heat
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to walk and stand on uneven surfaces
- Prolonged sitting
- Ability to operate assigned vehicle safely
- Ability to read, see and understand signs, signals, commands, instruction and safety policies
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must have minimum of 1 yrs. safe CLD driving experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license Class A or B with an X endorsement and a good driving record
