OVERVIEW
Founded in 2018, Brodie Modular is a design focused company that develops residential properties from the ground up. Consistently ahead of the curve of new technologies and always innovating, we have built a brand that regularly outperforms the competition in every market we enter. Brodie is forcing the construction industry into the future, and proving there is a market of buyers who value sustainability, design, and innovation.
Our Structural Engineer will execute Brodie Builder's vision by transforming the Founder/Principal's conceptual drawings into full construction documents, and working with the Plant Manager to successfully execute the production of sustainable modular home units that are not only durable and safe, but demonstrate our high standards of quality. While the day-to-day responsibilities vary to reflect the schedule and workload of the business and will adapt to further growth, as a whole, the Structural Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safety and durability of each unique project, while helping drive company vision into action through a warehouse production line that maximizes safety, quality, and productivity. This is a new position in a start-up environment; initiating projects and collaborating with our team as a whole will be emphasized within the first phase of this role.
Reporting to the Founder/Principal and working closely with each member of the team as it rapidly grows, the Structural Engineer is a crucial leader within each project and ensures the safety and durability of our modular homes. The ideal candidate has the necessary skills and technical expertise to factor in the varying qualities and strengths delivered by a range of building materials, and understands how to incorporate these components. They will be managing the entire engineering process and collaborating with team members and technical staff to meet or exceed company goals.
