Our ideal applicant will have 3 years of real estate litigation experience and strong knowledge of land use, title insurance, and business law. Responsibilities: Consider all legal aspects of clients’ circumstances and desired outcome to provide sound legal advice to them Cooperate with city boards and agencies to obtain permits and avoid zoning legal issues Represent client at real estate closings, in real estate disputes, and real estate litigation Settle terms and conditions for real estate transactions, and facilitate the transfer of title between real estate agents, borrowers, and title company Conduct detailed due diligence, and inspect title examination, closing binder, and legal documents for legal risk, completion, and accuracy • Preparing and reviewing title examinations • Clearing liens and addressing title issues • Account for, prepare, and issue escrow disbursements • Will work with title examiners, title insurance underwriters, real estate buyers, sellers, and real estate agents, lenders, and our staff to prepare, and record necessary title paperwork and title insurance policies Qualifications: A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required Exceptional negotiation, research, networking, and communication skills are desired Hold a current law license in the state and be a member of your local bar association Minimum 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial real estate attorney, as a transactional attorney, or as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm Must be computer proficient Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 yearly

    • Preparing and reviewing title examinations • Clearing liens and addressing title issues • Account for, prepare, and issue escrow disbursements • Will work with title examiners, title insurance underwriters, real estate buyers, sellers, and real estate agents, lenders, and our staff to prepare, and record necessary title paperwork and title insurance policies
