Hi- our family is looking for a bright, fun, compassionate and reliable college age guy to hang out with and attend extracurricular activities with our son who is a recent transfer student to GMU. Our son is smart and engaged but has unreliable speech so he uses a letter board or keyboard to communicate. He's an extrovert and loves to go out but needs assistance with his letter board and with transportation etc. He is looking to attend Inter-Varsity large and small group activities on week nights and Catholic Student activities as well. He's hoping to get involved in student life as much as possible. We live in Arlington about 25 minute drive from GMU. Ideal candidates will have some special needs experience or just be kind and compassionate! We'd love to find someone this summer to start learning the letter board and hanging out. He loves walks, hiking, restaurants, riding the metro and going to museums and the national mall. Pay is $20 to $25 an hour depending on experience. Please email Brooke at the above email address.
