    Job Summary COMFORCARE is hiring compassionate and reliable In-Home Caregivers—including CNAs, PCAs, and Home Health Aides—in Bridgeport, CT, and surrounding areas. Full- and part-time positions are available. As a caregiver, you’ll help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently by assisting with personal care, household tasks, and social engagement. Driving is a plus. Bilingual Spanish/English caregivers are encouraged to apply.

    Key Responsibilities

    Daily Routine Support: Assist with "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene.

    Meal Support: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.

    Provide medication reminders as directed.

    Home Management: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a tidy environment.

    Community Access: Provide transportation for grocery shopping, errands, and medical appointments. and social outings.

    Social Engagement: Offer meaningful companionship, engaging clients in conversation, reading, and recreational activities.

    Safety: Monitor the home environment for fall risks and assist with safe transfers (e.g., from bed to chair).

    Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or office staff.

    Tailored Care Plans: Follow individualized care plans accurately and efficiently.

    Requirements

    Reliability and Professional Conduct: A strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.

    Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    High School Diploma, G.E.D, or any other relevant certification.
