    BROOKLYN MINDS is searching for someone who gets us and is ready to present us to the world as the new standard of mental health care! As a high-growth early-stage company and a disrupter in the mental health space, we are excited to use marketing and social media as a tool to build our brand! The Digital Content Coordinator supports the development, organization, and creation of content for the Brooklyn Minds website, blog, social media accounts, newsletters, and digital properties. This role reports to the Digital Marketing Director.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DIRECTOR, DIGITAL MARKETING:

    • Coordinate editorial calendars for blog content, social media posts, and internal/external newsletters.
    • Write engaging social media copy specific for each platform while implementing best standards and practices.
    • Actively participate on social media to strategically grow our audience and nurture new and existing business relationships.
    • Generate weekly analytics reports on blog and social media activity.
    • Schedule meetings, create agendas, and capture notes next steps.
    • Draft and edit internal and external newsletters.
    • Visibly demonstrate our Brooklyn Minds Values.

     

    CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

    • A minimum of 2 years' experience with coordinating, writing, and publishing B2C social media content.
    • Knowledge of social media schedulers and analytics including Buffer, Facebook Analytics, Facebook Business Suite, Twitter Analytics.
    • Knowledge of Monday.com, Google products, WordPress, and Mailchimp.
    • Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to meet multiple deadlines.
    • A team player with a passion for their work, positive attitude, and a drive for success.
    • Able to diplomatically challenge status quo with new creative ideas.
    • Photoshop experience plus.
    • Experience in the healthcare or tech space preferred. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or equivalent professional experience.

    LOCATION:

    This position is partly remote with the expectation of working in the office two to three days a week depending on safety guidelines. When our offices are fully re-opened there will be opportunities to work in the NY office. We have offices in Greenpoint, Midtown Manhattan, and Manhasset, and have a significant TeleHealth presence.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

    • $50,000-55,000 annual salary (commensurate with experience)
    • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance benefits
    • Eligibility for 401K after one year of work
