  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    •    Inventory – Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels that maximize SKU utilization by location that comply with ITW’s MOH, SLOW and Obsolete inventory targets  •    Analyze the demand and supply balance at multiple distribution locations, determining out-of-balance conditions, identifying alternatives, and taking action.  Analyze variances in demand to determine best course of action. Inform management if demand cannot be met and recommend alternatives •    Responsible for analysis on potential stock out and overstock situations with recommendations for the most cost effective course of action.  •    Inform Customer service and supply of any changes in the inventory receiving schedule impacting customer orders •    Maintain import and export in-transit reports •    Coordinate open PO report with in-transit report to identify any product expected to be off-schedule and notify appropriate team members. •    Responsible for analysis on potential shipping delays from vendor/carrier and early shipments with recommendations for best course of action to maintain service levels and desired inventory levels •    Assist in maintaining the company’s MRP system data accuracy and availability •    Knowledge in aspects of Importing/Exporting and an emphasis on inventory planning  •    Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to continuously identify new opportunities. •    Assist Supply Chain in various analytical, reporting and administrative functions as requested by the Supply Chain Manager •    Other Duties as required

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    •    College Degree preferred •    3-5 years practical experience in a supply chain environment  •    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment; ability to interpret data quickly and elevate potential issues to appropriate level of review •    Proficient computer skills with advanced knowledge in excel, word and familiarity with ERP systems. PowerBI skills a plus  •    Excellent organizational and decision-making skills •    Solid communication and interpersonal skills •    Able to work independently, be dependable and adapt to changes in systems and procedures   •    Employee must work well under pressure while meeting multiple tasks or competing deadlines
