We are a full service firm offering exterior landscape design and maintenance, irrigation design/installation, Landscape construction/enhancement, seasonal color design and installation, interiorscapes, fertilization, weed and pest management, organic programs, Holiday/seasonal design/installation, parking lot sweeping, tree pruning and arbor care to both commercial and residential customers. With over 20 years of experience, we are properly staffed and equipped to handle projects of any size and scope. Our seasoned and reliable team works hard to understand and meet, every customer’s particular needs and expectations.

     

    We are actively searching for an experienced BUSINESS SYSTEMS MANAGER (BSM)/CONTROLLER/HR with a proven track record in extensive accounting and administrative practices, preferably within a service-based organization. This individual will manage/perform the front office and all accounting activities associated with maintaining multiple locations. Manage the data input and output functions to provide timely and accurate financial reports, payroll, billing, collection, payables and cash management.

    Some of the BSM’s key responsibilities are:

    • Manage all accounting functions including payroll, billing, receivables, payables, cash flow/management, and GM/Owner Dashboards,

    • Maintain general and cost accounting records using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

    • Prepare, interpret and issue timely and accurate reports of financial position, income and expense, and other appropriate

    financial/analytical reports

    • Allocate general expenses and costs incurred on a reasonable and equitable basis and in accordance with company policy

    and operating plan

    • Train, direct and evaluate team members on effective application of company’s credit and collections policy

    • Ensure compliance with all company financial policies, as well as state/federal laws and regulations

    • Work with the General Manager on all HR-related issues (e.g., recruiting, hiring, terminations, disciplinary action)

    • Provide support for special projects assigned by General Manager

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 10 years verifiable accounting experience

    • Experience with “Include Software/ASSET” a plus

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting OR equivalent combination of education and experience

    • 5+ years human resource management experience

    • Strong working knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, Excel and other MS Office applications

    • Office administration experience strongly preferred

    • Supervisory experience is a plus
