Job Summary We are seeking someone to fill a combination position of Prep and Delivery to join the BSB&G family! We are a small town restaurant that provides great food & drinks to our locals with our big menu & good vibes! The ideal candidate is able to work independently & in a fast paced environment, reliable & punctual and is a team player.
This position allows for someone to make a higher hourly rate on days they are helping with the prep and also make daily cash tips on deliveries. We have a designated prep cook so this position will be an assistant to the main prep cook when needed. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning hours from 9am until 4pm -- an IDEAL schedule! Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to use.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work off of Prep list to ensure all items are completed as needed
Communicate regularly with managers about inventory or any relevant information regarding products
Rotate stock & follow respective food safety regulations
Follow all food safety & cleanliness regulations
Proper delivery etiquette and food handling
Performs other duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, minimum 1 year
ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification (preferred but not required)
Team player but also able to work independently in a fast paced environment
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including moving quickly if needed, standing for long periods and lifting up to 30+ pounds
