About the role:

Brown Dutton & Crider Law Firm is seeking an associate attorney to join our Team! Experience is encouraged but not required however, you must have an active Georgia Bar License or be awaiting your bar results. Our firm has an excellent team of dedicated and experienced staff. Our Lawyers have been nominated as Super Lawyers, Rising Stars, Legal Elite and Member of the Year for Kennesaw Business Association.

We handle complex family and domestic cases specifically representing clients in divorce, separation, modifications, custody cases, contempt proceedings, protective orders, prenuptial agreements and more. As an associate attorney you will have the opportunity to learn from our experienced partners, get Courtroom experience, and aid our existing clients. We are a fast growing law firm with plenty of room for growth!

Compensation:

$65,000 - $85,000 yearly plus bonus

Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders
• Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients
• Attend court proceedings to assist the other attorneys at trial
• Assist in incoming and outgoing discovery
• Communicate with partners and other lawyers and paralegals to effectively move through the litigation process
• Attend and assist clients through mediation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required
• Experience at a legal firm working on family law is preferred by not required
• Georgia Bar License or awaiting Georgia Bar Results
• Ability to be in office at our Marietta Office Monday-Friday
