  • Responsibilities

    Our Field Service Technician serves as a company representative for field installations, troubleshooting, service calls and preventative maintenance at customer facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include providing field service and technical assistance to customers in the areas of installation, testing, start-up, maintenance and repair.

     

    Required Skills

    • Associates Degree or equivalent in a technology field
    • At least 3 years of field experience in a direct hands-on electrical service environment.
    • Electrical/electronic background (must be able to read electrical schematics).
    • Troubleshooting and field wiring skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must with the ability to be flexible to adjust to changing field conditions.
    • Able to perform both independently as well as in a team environment.
    • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. A typical service trip takes between 2 days and 1 week.

     

    KNOWLEDGE OF:

    • Knowledge of Rockwell platforms
    • Experience with EtherNet networking and EtherNet Switch configuration
    • Experience with the PowerFlex family of AC Drives including start-up and troubleshooting.

    This is a full-time position. We offer our Field Service technicians a full benefit package and overtime. Generous relocation assistance is also provided for this role.
