Salary:

$130,000 - $230,000 base salary (dependent on experience and billing rates)

Business & Real Estate Transactional Associate Attorney Position:
Brown & Streza is seeking an associate to work in a collaborative environment with partners and senior attorneys on business and real estate matters. This position offers the opportunity to grow your knowledge base by actively participating in complex transactions and frequently interact with business owners and high-net-worth individuals. This is an ideal position for attorneys looking to advance their careers by taking a greater role in transactions while receiving regular mentoring.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

• Forming and maintaining business entities and advising and strategizing with clients on potential opportunities
• Advising clients regarding corporate governance, tax, and business succession planning
• Representing clients in mergers & acquisitions, financings, and real estate transactions
• Drafting and negotiating various agreements

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school; a member in good standing of the California Bar
• Strong drafting skills
• Highly team-oriented
• Prior knowledge and experience in the areas of corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, real estate, lending and financing, tax, or succession planning is preferred but not required
