You can anticipate working on projects within civic, cultural, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, mixed-use, preservation and reuse, sports and wellness, and workplace. Our success is based on the client’s vision coming to life and includes a team of Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Planners, and support staff who play a part in solving complex design problems. We are seeking a Project Coordinator who will add their skills and creativity to our diverse projects.

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    The primary responsibilities include delivering solutions that meet the needs of the project. You will also be responsible for one or more projects, their scope documentation quality, schedule, consultant coordination, and financial budget related to each project.

    This role will be responsible for project schedules, project needs, and financial performance, conformance to contractual agreements, as well as documentation, client interaction, consultant oversight, and coordination, and overall project administration.

    • Provide reports and regular status updates to the Project Manager.
    • Conduct programming efforts, including information gathering site analysis and site inventory of existing conditions, identifying opportunities and constraints. Implement the QA/QC comments and design review at each phase of the project.
    • Ensure documentation and timely distribution of all meeting notes to the project team.
    • Incorporate and consider sustainable design solutions into all projects.
    • Support the construction administration phase, responding to RFIs, ASIs, shop drawings, field site reviews, and reports.
    • Select and specify appropriate materials and associated details.
    • Prepare and support client presentations.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Possess creative talent in the communication of complex conceptual design concepts.
    • Foster mutual trust and confidence by developing the client- architect relationship.
    • Integral in guiding the internal team and external consultants working toward the common goal.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
    • Proficient knowledge of the following:
      • Site and building regulations and safety/ADA/FHA/zoning code.
      • Design techniques, tools, and the principles involved in production.
      • Construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer appropriateness.
      • Commonly used concepts and best practices within the profession.
      • Architectural finishes, lighting, signage, etc.
    • Proficient to advanced experience of the following:
      • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
      • Scheduling software (Team Gantt).
      • Sketchup, Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D rendering software (Lumion).
      • Knowledge of Affinity Photo, Designer, and Publisher.
      • Online project management software.
    • Associates level degree related to the field or comparable work experience.
    • Preferred professional experience of 3-5 years.
    • Satisfactory completion of a background screening.
