Job Title: Maintenance Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Maintenance Technician is a member of the Browns Fit team and plays a key role in the company’s overall success by servicing the club and being responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the interior of the club

Maintain cleanliness of the immediate exterior of the club

Assist with service to the members and guests, when required

Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the general manager

Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members and guests

Attend monthly and/or weekly department meetings

Attend employee training meetings

In addition to the primary roles and responsibilities described within, each team member embraces and follows the guidelines outlined in our Service Standards and plays a vital role in the success of Browns Fit. Members of the Operations Team always represent the company while they are in the club and must maintain a professional manner in dealing with fellow staff, members and guests. They must display a helpful and positive attitude, assist other departments when necessary.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a part-time position. Your daily schedule could vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the club, the staff, and the members.

REQUIREMENTS

Fluent in English

Proficient reading and writing skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting heavy weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 45 lbs.
