    Job Description

    Brownstein Group seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing, nationally-recognized Public Relations team. We are looking for someone with a passion for media relations, writing and events, an entrepreneurial spirit and of course a proven track record in all of the above. Experience in B2B/B2C, community relations, retail activations, grocery and/or hospitality is a plus.

    This position is responsible for supporting the development of strategic plans and messaging for 5-7 clients at a time, executing public relations tactics, maintaining client relationships, ensuring that intended outcomes are met, as well as reporting and measurement. It requires collaborative work within the department and agency, strategic thinking, an understanding of both traditional and non-traditional PR tactics, strong writing skills, and most significantly, the motivation and skill to secure editorial coverage for our clients.

    Qualified candidates will demonstrate an ability to be a strategic account leader, successfully garner top-tier media and blog coverage, execute well-written thought leadership materials and manage a variety of tactics within an integrated communications platform, all while providing a well-articulated point of view on industry trends, newsmakers and communication strategy.

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 4-year degree with concentration in PR, Journalism, Communication or English

    • 2-4 years prior agency or equivalent client-side PR experience

    • Strong writing skills and writing samples

    • Proven media relations results and sample work

    -Knowledge of social media

    • Experience developing PR campaigns and plans and proven executional excellence

    • Experience reporting and measuring campaign success

    • Event management experience

    • Excellent client service and interpersonal communication skills
