An Intern, or Trainee, is an individual completing work for our company to gain solid business exposure and work experience. Intern job duties vary by department, but their common responsibilities include collaboration, learning, becoming proficient in software, completing tasks assigned by their supervisor and attending meetings when they are assigned.

Position Objectives & Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with light industrial maintenance tasks including electrical, mechanical, and piping projects.
• Work with Maintenance Manager to develop maintenance log / CMMS program.
• Assist with assessment of preventative maintenance tasks in industrial manufacturing.
• Work with Maintenance Manager to develop best practices related to various maintenance activities.
• Drive safety and regulatory requirements related to plant maintenance area.

Position-Specific Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Education
• Solid communication skills with the ability to read, write, solve basic math problems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Detail oriented and good analytical skills.
• Basic mechanical understanding
• Ability to follow detailed mechanical instructions for rebuilding or servicing industrial equipment.
