As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking an experienced Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney licensed in the State of Ohio to join us. We are Looking for a highly skilled and motivated Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney with a proven track record of success in handling complex estate planning matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal guidance, reviewing and customizing documents, sales, and developing strategies to assist clients in preserving and transferring their wealth effectively. This position offers the flexibility to work virtually, in a hybrid capacity, or in-office, depending on individual preferences and business needs. Responsibilities: • Conduct consultations with clients to assess their estate planning goals and objectives, and sell needed legal services. • Provide comprehensive legal advice on various estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and Medicaid planning. • Draft and review estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, and beneficiary designations, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations. • Develop and implement customized estate planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and protect assets from probate and long-term care costs. • Collaborate with other legal professionals and advisors, such as financial planners and tax professionals, to offer holistic solutions to clients. • Stay updated on changes in estate planning and Medicaid laws and regulations to provide clients with accurate and timely advice. • Maintain detailed records and documentation of client interactions and case progress. • For in-office and hybrid Attorneys: Represent clients in non-contested probate proceedings and guardianship matters as necessary. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • Active license to practice in the State of Ohio. • Substantial experience practicing estate planning and elder law. • Strong understanding of Ohio estate planning and elder laws, tax implications, and probate procedures. • Excellent drafting and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. • Proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services and achieving favorable outcomes for clients. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in legal research tools and software. • Ability to close high-value sales. Compensation: $90,000 - $150,000 yearly
