We have an LNG client located in Beaumont, TX is looking to hire (2) Buyers/Expeditors.

• Industry: Oil & Gas
• Location: Beaumont, TX
• Worksite: On-site (No opportunity for remote work)
• Work type: W2 Contract
• Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 40 hours a week
• Tentative Start Date: September 2023
• Contract Duration: 6-12 month contract with potential for extension based on workload

Main Functions:

• Request pricing for materials with vendors on lists provided by spare parts management team and ensure delivery timeframe meets requirements
• Engage with supplier for collection of documentation for new vendor request forms and follow process for setup in SAP.
• Enter purchase requisitions and purchase orders in SAP.
• Ensures materials purchased are scheduled for timely delivery and on track to be received at Company storage warehouse.
• Efficient and effective processing and management of SAP purchase requisitions and purchase orders to assure the timely receipt of materials
• Good understanding of materials & services (M&S) contracts and contracting process
• Overall understanding of supply chain controls, delivery scheduling and planning for delivery/receipt of materials purchase orders
• Interfaces with accounts payable with invoices on associated materials purchase orders
• Completes new vendor setup forms, routes and interfaces to Company vendor master setup, and ensures new vendor set-up in SAP completed
• Responsible for the resolution of any problems or issues arising from the purchase of materials and invoices.
• Excellent customer service while interfacing with internal customers and vendors
• Expediting orders to the warehouse and/or storage facility

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma required
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related discipline preferred, not required

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of related supply chain management/purchasing experience required
• SAP purchase requisition and purchase order experience required

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

• Understanding of SAP processes including, but not limited to: Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Service Entries, Outline Agreements, Source Lists, P-Info records, GR/IR resolution, Request for Quotes etc.
