    JOB SUMMARY: 

    Responsible for customer communications, customer order entry, shipping facilitation, and order invoicing.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Communicates customer concerns to appropriate level of management
    • Responds to customer inquires
    • Makes changes to open orders and reports related to, but not limited to, the date and quantity
    • Assures accuracy of open reports in order to accurately calculate departmental on time delivery
    • Enter in Customer Orders from email, fax and phones
    • Calls trucking companies to facilitate shipping
    • Produce Invoices
    • NAFTA update once a year and distributed to customers
    • Update customer profiles and pricing
    • Daily filing for customer service and accounting
    • Processes Canadian Customs Invoice (CCI)
    • Processes Automatic Export System (AES) for International shipping other than Canada

     

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Serves as back up to the Receptionist, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
    • Signs for packages
    • Meets with Sales Representatives
    • Set up carriers for any inbound and outbound shipments

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 3 – 5 Years Customer Service experience
    • Shipping Experience helpful
    • Proven Interpersonal, Multitasking and Problem-solving abilities required
