Our Bellevue client is looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant to assist them on a contract basis during a medical leave.
The contract Accounting Assistant will be responsible for:
- Preparing and sorting accounts payable invoices for data entry
- Applying accounts receivable invoices to the correct account within the system
- Entering data into an ERP checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
- Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
- Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan
- Responding to information requests from authorized members
Requirements for the contract Accounting Assistant include:
- Computer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs such as MS Office (formal computer training may be advantageous in progressing in this career)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
- Proficient touch typing skills
