Our Tacoma based construction client is adding a Senior Accountant to their team! The Senior Accountant will handle a variety of tasks and be an instrumental part of the team.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly construction draws
• Review, cost code and pay accounts payable invoices for various financial entities
• Monitor cash flow for various financial entities
• Create journal entries as well as be responsible for general ledger and bank account reconciliations
• Review expenses at month end to ensure accurate coding and report on budget vs. actual performance
• Process intercompany invoices
• Be a team member and business partner, working to build relationships with various departments and personnel
• Special projects as needed

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant include:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting preferred
• 3+ years of job cost accounting experience required
• Experience processing, completing and reporting construction loan draws a plus
