Our Seattle based healthcare client is adding an Accounting Manager to their team. The Accounting Manager will play an integral role in leading the accounting department including responsibility for financial accounting, interim reporting, payroll, revenue capture, and internal controls.

Duties of the Accounting Manager include:

• Directs the day-to-day accounting activities.
• Preparation, analysis and review of monthly financial statements, Medicare cost accounting reports, departmental monthly management reports and other accounting information.
• Plan and monitor the financial accounting process
• Coordinate development and implementation of new and/or modified accounting systems and controls.
• Liaison with auditors and coordinate the annual financial audit and required schedules as well as the 990.
• Assists the Controller in coordinating the annual budget process and coordinate the reporting process.
• Supervises the Accountants, Payroll Specialist and Financial Analyst and any other personnel who may be responsible for revenue capture, bookkeeping, and general ledger.
• Other duties and responsibilities as may be required.

Requirements for the Accounting Manager include:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years of management experience required 
• MIP strongly desired
• Previous experience working within the healthcare sector required
