Bruster's of Ingomar is a locally owned and operated franchise of Bruster's Real Ice Cream. We are in need of upbeat energetic individuals who are interested in learning the ins and outs of the ice cream experience. As an ice cream maker at Bruster's you will be required to learn and carry out the following tasks:
A food service background is helpful but not necessary. Basic computer skills are necessary.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and see, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to taste or smell.
Employee must possess or develop both the manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to scoop and portion all of our retail and wholesale products, most time without the aid of measuring devices, due to the volume of sales we may encounter.
Employee must be able to maneuver in a tight and sometimes congested working environment, both quickly and without creating a hazard.
Position requires lifting up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
