    THE OPPORTUNITY:

    Bryant Consultants is looking for a highly motivated Senior Water Resources Engineer Professional who is seeking to lead and grow a practice group for our Englewood, CO location. Bryant Consultants is a leading engineering consulting firm focused on growth, particularly in the earth science and forensic sectors. Many of its current clients and projects require the expertise of a Water Resources Engineer Professional.

    The successful candidate will use his/her water resources/hydrology/engineering proficiency to investigate/improve land and water resources, to conduct root cause analysis, and to propose solutions using their water resources or hydrology background (stormwater, flood, culvert analysis, watershed delineation, drainage design, etc.). The successful candidate will be familiar with hydraulic programs (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD, etc.), be an excellent writer and communicator, and take on the responsibility of maintaining and developing strong client relationships. In addition, he or she will partner with engineers and other team members to manage multiple projects throughout all project phases including development, investigation, analysis, and report writing and, potentially, all stages of litigation, including the possibility of delivering expert witness testimony.

    Salary is commensurate with experience.

    Estimated salary range is $110,000.00 - $200,000.00.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    Apply professional engineering competence with specialized knowledge of chemistry and hydrological science, and protect or improve the natural resources of land and water;

    Investigate, measure and evaluate environmental conditions and carrying out relevant research, development, planning, design, advisory and related engineering activities;

    Create and manage projects in current project management software to match proposal;

    Organize, draft, and coordinate engineering reports, proposals, technical documents, design details, and ensure that commitments to clients are met;

    Utilize work orders and daily reports;

    Attend project related meetings to assure utilization of most up to date project data and assure timeliness of project completion;

    Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents;

    Prepare engineering reports and proposals;

    Maintain current client relationship and identify areas for potential clients to lead business development; and

    Mentor junior professional staff with the purpose of professional development.

    WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION

    Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field of study. Master of Science or PhD preferred;

    10 or more years of experience in related field;

    Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification;

    Certified Floodplain Manger (CFM) (or to be obtained within 3 months); and

    Knowledge of hydraulic programs (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD, etc.).
