    THE OPPORTUNITY:

    Bryant Consultants is looking for a highly motivated Entry Level Building Envelope Specialist with an engineering (civil or architectural) or construction science background for our Houston, TX location! You will be joining our team and providing high-level inspection, building envelope, and project management services to our diverse client base. You will be responsible for forensic investigations, report writing, and construction administration while working under senior staff.     WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    Review and assist with managing project schedule, scope, and fee to ensure successful projects and satisfied clients;

    Assist with design solutions and manage client expectations;

    Attend site meetings and address CA tasks such as submittal review and answering RFIs;

    Perform condition assessments of the building envelope for compliance with Construction Documents and Local Building Codes which includes reviewing available documents, interviews with key personnel, site inspections and field-testing; and

    Organize, draft, and coordinate detailed reports with recommendations relating to the building envelope systems and components.

    WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

    Bachelor of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering degree or applicable building envelope certifications is preferred;

    1-5 years professional experience performing building envelope testing or investigations;

    Dependable, knowledgeable, and reliable, pays high attention to detail and takes the initiative in their work;

    Self-motivated and can manage their time efficiently;

    Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with clients and team members;

    A basic understanding of how to produce drawings/details; and

    Desired certifications: RRO, RRC, RWC, REWC, QAP, CxA+BE, BECx, certified IR Thermographer, certified Air Barrier Auditor.
