Led by Brent Buchsbaum and Laurel Haag, two top-rated lawyers with a combined 40 years of experience representing hundreds of clients throughout Southern California, BH has gained a reputation for working relentlessly to ensure employee rights are preserved and protected. Buchsbaum and Haag has an immediate opening for a Paralegal position, who will handle a variety of legal and administrative duties. The ideal candidate must be speak Spanish, as they will be responsible for communicating with Spanish speaking clients daily.

Job Duties Include:

• Conduct research to support legal proceedings
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
• Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
• Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations 
• Record and store client information
• Prepare propounding discovery and responses to discovery
• Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling meetings and conference calls, and completing intakes

Qualifications:

• Must be Bilingual: English and Spanish
• Must have 1-2 years of experience
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines
• Must be detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask
