Buck &Rider is a busy Seafood & Steak Eatery with the freshest Oyster & Sushi Bar in the valley. Our seafood and raw bar is flown in daily! Our seafood-centric restaurant focuses on a fun vibe, youthful attitude, and clean recipe lineup of food and drinks. Our high volume locations do well over 15 million dollars annually and we are about to open another new location.
Sushi Chefs are required to have precise technique, skill and experience, our Sushi game is serious!
Sushi Chef applicant must be professional and polished, have experience, and very work clean.
Day in the Life:
Ensure sushi rice is to perfection
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
Responsible for preparing sushi items for our guests in accordance with portioning, recipe and service guidelines
Keeps work areas and food storage areas, clean and safe at all times.
Primarily works in front of guests while preparing foods at the sushi bar
Monitors and ensures the portioning of foods prepared at the sushi bar and maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the sushi bar and equipment
Work quickly to keep up with the pace of the restaurant and team
Reading and following department of health standards and food industry standards
Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Perform all other duties as required, including prep work or additional tasks as needed
